Welcome to Cimbric
Danish quality since 1964
From a shrimp factory in Sindal to fish cakes in Lemvig. With 90% fish and a commitment to quality ingredients, we deliver quality you can taste.
We could save money by using flour and potatoes as fillers. We don’t do that. You can’t cut corners when it comes to true quality.
Our Beginnings
It all started with shrimp
Cimbric was founded in 1964 as a shrimp processing plant in Sindal. Quality and high-quality ingredients have been our foundation from day one—values that still drive us today.
In 2016, Cimbric became part of the Jeka Group, and shrimp production moved to Lemvig. The merger brought decades of experience under one roof.
"Quality has always been our guiding principle"
Fish Cakes
90% fish – no compromises
In 2013, we began producing fish cakes using ingredients from our own cod production. The goal was simple: more fish, less filler.
Today, the fish cakes are a business in their own right—but the philosophy remains the same as it was in 1964: quality you can taste.
"90% fish isn't a sales gimmick—it's just the right way to do it"
Our promise
