Our classic fish cakes are the recipe that started it all. Then as now, it’s all about letting the fish speak for itself—90% wild-caught cod, seasoned with a handful of simple ingredients and pan-fried until golden and crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.

This is the fish cake that Danes grew up with. Serve it with homemade remoulade and rye bread, or enjoy it as a main course with potato salad and fresh vegetables. It’s just as perfect for a quick weekday lunch as it is for a classic weekend brunch.
